Higham. 1381. Grant from Robert Crowe of Higham (Hiegham) to William Chippeleye and Katherine his wife, of the tenements and lands once held by the said Robert of the gift of Roger of Chippeleye, in Hiegham. Dated, at Higham (Hiegham) on Monday [24 June] the feast of the nativity of St John Baptist, 5 Ric. II [1381]. Witnesses: Thomas Hiegham, Richard Colet, John Pikchese, Richard Ilger, John Aumener, and others. Endorsed: Carta fact' Will'mo Chyppeley deten' in Heigham in Lortland [?].
