Higham. 1349. Grant from John Godefrey of Great Bradley or Little Bradley (Bradeleye), to Robert Heryngen, jun., of Higham (Heiham, of the parish of Gayslee), of an acre of arable land in the fields of Heiham, lying next to the land once held by John Priour, with one end abutting on the land of Thomas, son of Thomas. Dated at Gazeley (Gaysle) on Easter Day, 23 Edw. III [12 April, 1349]. Witnesses: John Priour, Stephen Chapman, John le Smyht, Gilbert Waleys, John Mose, John Fych, and others. The seal is wanting.
