Higham (Higham etc). 1313. Grant from John Bole of Higham (Heyham) to John Fyzs and Sara his wife, for a sum of money, of two half-acres of arable land, in the field of Heyham, one half-acre lying between the lands of John Wayssepail and Humfrey of Palegrue, and abutting on the lands of Thomas of Passelewe, and Roger Aleyn, the other half-acre lying between the lands of John Wayssepail and John Wayssepail, jun., and abutting on the land of Humfrey of Palegraue, and on 'le fyldeweye'. Dated at Higham (Heyham), Sunday [16 Dec.] next after the feast of St Lucy, Virgin, 7 Ed. II [1313]. Witnesses: Thomas, son of Thomas, Roger Robbe, Robert Passelewe, Walter of Saham, Walter la Kersonere of Gaysle, Thomas (Smith) 'Fabro' of the same, Robert 'Clerico'(?) of the same, and others. The seal is wanting. Endorsed: De Joh'ne Bole.
