Roger, son of Baldwin the Convert , grants to the prior and canons of Tunebruge the whole of the land called 'Hoppereslond' with the grove adjacent called Orpette which came to him after the death of his father, in the parishes of Tunebruge and Bitteberge, as well as other lands in Tunbridge. (c. 1260-70.) [Mutilated.]
