Richard de Roula grants to the prior and convent of Tonebrige, for 20 shillings forty pence of annual rents from the land of La Londe in Branchesle; paying annually for the same five grains of pepper at the priory of Tonebrige. (c. 1260-70) Witn. Walter de Elener, steward of the honour of Tonebrige , John de Stanigrave, constable of Tonebrige .
