Peter the Cook , son of Symon the Cook , grants to the prior and convent of Tunebrige the whole of the land called 'La Londe,' in the parish of Brenchesle, namely that which Robert, son of John de la Londe held of him; paying annually for the same 27 pence. (c. 1240-50)
