Giles de Erdintone grants to Thomas de la Hurne , for his homage and service, his capital messuage in Eston near the church, and the whole meadow and moor in that part called Stockedemedue with their appurtenances, and 24 acres of land in the same village, for which the said Thomas gave in exchange a tenement in the village of Erdington and a rent of 2 1/2 d., excepting the moor under the mill of Wytton which the said Thomas holds of Nicholas Salemon , paying annually to the said Giles and his heirs 40d. sterling. (c. 1260-70.) .
