Adam de Sumery grants to Henry fitz 'filio' Fenner of London , in exchange for the lands held by an annual quit-rent of a pound of pepper, a quit-rent of 31 pence, that Nigel, son of the priest was accustomed to pay for the land held of the said Adam. (c. 1210-12.)
