SANDFORD, co. Oxon. Thomas, son of Maurice de Sandford , with the assent of Alice his wife, grants to William Atenassche of Nethorton , and Ysolda, daughter of the said Thomas, and her heirs, two cottages in the village of Sandford, namely, situated between the cottage of Ysolda le Webbe on the one side and a cottage of .... le Welssche on the other, with a curtilage adjacent, and 2 acres of land in the field of the same village, whereof one acre lies in the north field in a culture which is called 'Le Dene,' between the land of Joan le Kyngkes and the land of Ralph Chapeleyn , and one acre lies in the south field in a culture which is called 'le Morforlong,' between the land of ... Lordyng on the south part; also he grants to Ysolda his daughter one middle selion of land in the croft held by Ysolda le Webbe for the term of her life. Dated at Sandford on the day of St. Margaret the virgin, 4 Ed. [II] (20 July 1310).
