An acquittance given to Oseney by Walter de la Fenne, clerk, of sir John de Wylyngton, kt., for the payment of 10s., for scutage of the fourth part of one knight's fee in the county of Oxford for the 34 Ed. I. Dated at Oseney, Sund. in vig. of St. Michael, 9 Ed. [II] (1315). Also a copy of a letter of attorney from sir John de Wylyngton, kt., appointing Walter de la Fenne collector for the same. Dated at Wymbervile the Thursday before the feast of St. Matthew, 9 Ed. [II] (1315).
