Claremunda, relict of Henry Wirle , in her widowhood, quit-claims to the abbot and convent of Oseney and their successors, all right which she has by name of dower in that messuage which Roger de Comenore had by sale of the said Henry her husband, situated in north Oseney, in the suburb of Oxford. For this quit-claim the said abbot and convent gave half a mark of silver. Witnesses. Nicholas de Kyngeston, then mayor, John Culvert and Thomas de Sowi , then bailiffs of Oxford. (1284.) .
