In the 41 Henry III, on the feast of the apostles SS. Peter and Paul, a convention was made between Richard the abbot and convent of Oseney of the one part, and William de Foulewell, le lingedraper, of the other, namely, that the said abbot and convent demise to the said William that messuage with appurtenances in the parish of St. Thomas the martyr, which William de Doddeford formerly lived in, for ever, at an annual rent of l0s. sterling. Witnesses. sir Nicholas de Henred, sheriff of Oxon , William de Mildecumb, clerk, etc.
