Robert L..., with the assent of Felicia his wife, and on account of their great necessity, grants to Adam, son of Seberen , for his homage and service, one messuage in Hokenorton, viz. that messuage which Adam Spilems... (?) held; also two acres of land in the east field, of which one half acre is against Ludewell, another against 'Hochulldich' near Thomas Winnegod , a third against 'Theroberevers (?) lake' near Thomas Winnegod , a fourth near Wlneswel near Thomas Winnegod 's gore above Stamwelle hull near Thomas Winnegod 's. In another field towards the south another 2 acres (with boundaries named), and half an acre in the meadow of 'Heiweies furlong,' paying annually 2s. For this donation the said Adam paid to Robert 30s. 6d., to Felicia his wife 3s., and to Geoffrey his son 2s., and to William, his son, 3d.(?), Nicholas 10d., and to Adam, and John, his sons, 6d. each. (c. 1230 (?).) .
