WORMENHALE. Henry, son of William, son of Goce of Wormehal , with the consent of his wife, grants to Stephen Totiluse for his homage and service, a messuage which Helyas Groce held in Wormehale, and 3 acres of land in the field of the same village, also one virgate lying under the said messuage, to hold the same to him and his heirs at an annual rent of 2s. (c. 1170-80.) [Wigram no. 848] .
