OXFORD (St. Mary the Virgin). Ralph, the abbot, and convent of Derham undertake to pay to the prior and convent of St. Frideswide half a mark annually for that house formerly Hugh de St. German 's in Oxford, and given to the said abbot and convent by H. archbishop of Canterbury , in frankalmoigne. (c. 1208.)
