OXFORD (St. Clement). Walter de Cherlton grants to the church and canons of St. Frideswide, in frankalmoigne, that land, with appurtenances, which he held of them, and for which he was accustomed to pay annually 10d., in the parish of St. Clement, between the land of the Templars, which he held of the Templars, and the land of Richard and Thomas Franckll '. Witness. Adam Feteplace, then mayor of Oxford . (c. 1250-60.)
