OXFORD (Holiwell). Mandate of Henry, with the style of King, son of King Henry II , to Henry the forester , that he shall cause the ditch in the fields near Holywell to be repaired, which was made after his coronaton [in 1170], so that no injury may be caused to the free tenants of St. Frid. nor to their lasher. (c. 1175-80.)
