Thomas de Grava , son of Fulk de Kirtlinton , grants to John, fitz-Clement , half a virgate of land in Kirtlinton which Clement, the father of the said John, held of Fulk his father: also two acres of meadow in Brilfontun. Witnesses: Henry de Pesie , Richard de Sarci , William of Covele , Hingeram de Kirtlinton , Henry de Baiwrthe , Nigel de Peru , John fitz William fitz William [sic], Geoffrey son of Hingeram of Kirtlinton , William son of Thomas De Grava , William the uncle of Thomas de Grava . (c. 1190-1200.) .
