Thomas Bussel of Samford and Mabilia his wife, daughter of Ralph, the knight of Samford , grant to the church of St. Nicholas, Litlemore, in frankalmoigne, one virgate of land, viz. 16 1/2 acres in the fields of Samford. Witnesses. John de Turbervile, sheriff of Oxon , William Wasthose and many others. Dated the morrow of St laurence, being Tuesday next before the feast of the Assumption, 1254, 38 Hen. III.
