PUSEY, Berks. Robert de Sanford grants in frankalmoigne, to the church of St. Mary, St. Nicholas, and St. Edmund, Cherley ('Cerleiam'), at the reception there of his daughter, certain lands with a mill in his demesne of Pusey, and also confirms conjointly with Jordan his son, and Christiana, wife of the said Jordan, whatever (8 acres) Roger the son of Richard and Ralph his son gave and will give to the same church, and also gives ten acres on account of the reception of Christina his little daughter, "parvule filie", and confirms the gift of Robert the son of Warner . (c. 1150-60.)
