KENNINGTON, co. Berks. Roger de Sanford , for the health of the souls of the Empress Matilda, himself, and the king, grants to the nuns of the church of St. Nicholas of Sanford in frankalmoigne, the third part of the island which is in 'Kenitona' between Keniton and Sanford.
