CRICK. Robert de Cursun grants to Alan de Swyneford , for his homage and service, half a virgate of land with appurtenances in Crec, except toft and croft, namely that which Walter Beel held. To hold to him and his heirs for an annual payment of one halfpenny at Easter for all secular service, custom, and demand. (c. 1220-40.) .
