INGHAM. Lease from Thomas, abbot of Bury St. Edmund, and the convent of the same, to John and William Hegge de Ingham of their manor of Ingham and all that belongs to it, except the advowson of the church, for 70 years, paying annually to the cellarer of the monastery £16. Dated 10 Sept., 1 Richard III (1483). [Roughly altered as a draft for a lease from abbot John to John Playford and John Talbot for 20 years; dated 10 Sept. ... Henry VIII, year not filled in. Abbot John Reeve succeeded in 1514.]
