HORNINGSHERTH. Thomas le Gaunter of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) grants to the hospital of St. Peter for the soul of himself and wife Beatrice the whole of a quarter of an acre of land called le Aldefaderacre in the fields of Horringer [previously Horningsheath] (Horningeserd) in frankalmoigne, paying annually 1 halfpenny to Robert Milun. Withn. master Hervey, Adam de Falekam, provost of Bury St Edmunds (St. Eadmund), Wodard son of Elyas alderman (c. 1210-20)
