GUNTON. Robert, son of Nicholas le Poor of Gunton (Goneton) , appoints Geoffrey, son of sir John de Ashby (Askeby) , his attorney to receive 2½d. at the feast of St. Michael, (which falls to him by heirship by the death of Robert son of Adam le Poor), from Robert son of Roger de Gonetone for two pieces of land in Gunton (Gonetone). Dated 15 Ed. [I].
