William de Shellond of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) grants to sir Richard, the abbot, and convent of St. Edmund, in frankalmoigne, 6d. of annual quit-rent arising out of five acres of arable land in Fornham formely Ralph Kempe 's, for the use of the latter. Dated at Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) the Monday next after the feast of the Invention of the Cross, 19 Ed. II (5 May 1326). Witn.
