Indenture made between the prior of the Holy Trinity, Gipp', and the convent, of the one part, and William Crane of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary) of the other, witnesseth that the said prior and convent have granted to farm to the said William all their lands, tenements, &c. in the villages of Creeting St Mary (Creting St. Mary), Creeting All Saints (Creting All Saints), Creeting St Olave (Creting St. Olave), Earl Stonham (Stonham Earl), Stonham Aspal (Stonham Antegan), Coddenham (Codenham), and Crowfield (Creffeld), for 12 years, paying annually six marks of silver. Dated the Sunday next after the feast of St. Michael, 21 Rich. II (30 Sept. 1397).
