Indenture made 24 December, 45 Q. Elizabeth, 1602 by which Gilbert Spalding of Hawstead (Hawsted, in the county of Suffolk), sells to Thomas Cooke, tailor a messuage &c. in Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund), next Risbygate in consideration of a sum of £39 paid to the said Gilbert.
