Richard Goldsmyth of Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund) grants to Walter Burton, clerk, master of the hospital of St. Peter, one garden lying in Maydewater lane in Bury St Edmunds (Bury) aforesaid. Dated at Bury St Edmunds (Bury St. Edmund) the Wednesday on the feast of St. Valentine, 4 Hen. IV (14 Feb., 1403). Witn. Roger Frampton, alderman, Laurence Trussbut, and Robert Somerton, bailiff.
