Roger Baldwyne of Stowmarket (Stowemercat) grants to William de Bernigham of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) one messuage with edifices and appurtenances in the village of Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) in the merchants' street (Vicus mercatorum). Dated at Bury St Edmunds (St. Edmund) the Monday next after Michaelmas, 9 Ed. III (2 Oct. 1335). Witn. Robert de Paston, alderman Henry Paux and John de Heunigham, bailiffs, etc.
