John de Rammesdene of Bury St Edmunds (St Edmund) grants to Thomas, the abbot, and convent of Bury St Edmunds (St Edmund), in frankalmoigne, 2s. of annual rent from his messuage in 'le Eldemarketestede' of Bury St Edmunds (St Edmund), to be distributed among the monks "dies qua duplex sonittus in adventu Domine cum missarum sollempnitate celebratur". Dated at Bury St Edmunds (St Edmund) the Friday next after the feast of St. Matthew, 33 Ed. I [24 Sept. 1305]. (Fine deed, written in large hand). Witnessed, Edmund son of Luke de St. Eadmund, William de Gypwic, and Laur. de Reda, bailiffs, etc.
