BOXSTEAD. Cecilia, daughter and heir of sir William Giffard, kt., jun., came here in court the Wednesday next after the octave of the Holy Trinity, and inrolled a charter dated at Boxted (Boxstede) the Monday next after the feast of St. Barnabas, 36 Ed. III (13 June 1362), by which she quit-claimed to Stephen Bacoun and Beatrice his wife all her right in the manor with the advowson of the church of Boxted (Boxstede) and all the lands which they hold in Hartest (Hertherst) and Glemsford (Glemusford).
