FORDLEY. Adam, son of Simon Goduine of Fordley (Fordle) , grants to Elyas the smith, for his homage and service and 4s. of silver, one piece of his land in Fordley (Fordle), between the land of the said Elyas and the land of John le Plumer, paying annually one penny. (c. 1230-40.)
