Indenture made 14 May, 35 Hen. VIII (1543), by which Richard Freston of Mendham, esq., demises to Thomas Bedwall and Elizabeth his wife and their sons, Symond, John the Elder, and John the Younger, the site of the manor of Wykham called Wickham Skeith (Wykham Hall) and lands, &c. for 99 years, at an annual rent of £10.
