Matilda, daughter of William Gernun of Pylecok, widow, grants for 20s. to Thomas Gernun, her brother, 12 acres of arable land in Wickham Skeith (Wycham), with a messuage, etc. which her late father bought of Robert de Mendalesham, and gave to her in marriage dowry; paying annually three pence half penny. (c. 1270.)
