John Jernegan, senior, esq., grants to sir John Hevenyngham, kt., and others, his manor of Somerleyton (Somerleton), with the foundation of the priory of St. Olave of Heryngflete and the advowson of Somerleyton, together with all rents, services, &c. in the villages of Somerleyton, Blundeston, Lound, Ashby (Askeby), Herringfleet (Heryngflete), and Bradwell. Dated at Somerleyton (Somerleton) the Sunday next before the feast of St. Gregory, pope, 49 Hen. VI, and 1st of his readeption of his power.
