Thomas, son of [Robert?] de Monte, grants to John, son of Osbert de Askeby, for his homage and service and 2s. of silver, the whole gift (totum donum) which Walter de Blundeston, clerk, granted and gave to the same John, viz. one piece of land in Ashby (Askeby); paying annually for the same three halfpence. (c. 1260-70.)
