HULME (Abbey). Proceedings in the great church of Norwich in a cause of alleged violeation[sic] between the abbot and convent of Hulme and Hervey de Surlingham, rector of Huggechale , the Monday next before the feast of St. Margaret, 1275 before G. de Nortune, commissary of the bishop, in which the said Hervey is fined four shillings for contumacy in non-appearance, and is cited to appear in the Monday next after the feast of St. Matthew.
