AYLSHAM. Copy of the letters patent of Queen Elizabeth, granting a charter to and conferring privileges upon the town of Aylsham, parcel of the duchy of Lancaster. Dated at Westminster, 12 Feb., 2nd year of her reign [1560]. Written by William Flegg, clerk, in 1571 and signed by Lancelot Thexton, "pastor", Christopher Tucke, bailiff and six others.
