WHEATACRE. Thomas, son of sir Robert Banyard, kt. , grants to sir Thomas Roscelyn, kt., the manors of Burghalle, Esthalle, and Huphalle, in the village of Whetacre, together with all the lands, &c. which were the said sir Robert Banyard's in Aldely [Aldeby?] and Whetacre, also the advowsons of All Saints and St. Peter of Whetacre, now held by Matilda wife of the said Robert, for the term of her life. Dated at Chategrave the Tuesday next after the feast of St. Luke the evangelist, 6 Ed. III.
