SCROUTEBY. Alice, daughter of Nicholas de Scrouteby , grants to William, the prior, and convent of the church of the Holy Trinity, Norwich, for the health of her soul, &c., the whole of that land and tenement in Scrouteby which the said prior and convent have by the gift of Reginald, son of Nigel de Scrouteby . (c. 1270-80.)
