RICHMOND (Abbey of St. Agatha). EASBY? Henry, the abbot, and convent of St. Agatha grant and quit-claim to the abbot and monks of Jorevall the cow-common of Mudebech in Garcedale which they held of sir Adam fitz Hugh of Magneby , by girograph dated feast of St. Peter ad vincula 1240, for 12 years saving the common pasture, which they previously had for the payment of 16 marks by the abbot and convent of Jorevall. Witn. sir Adam de Alverly, bailiff of Richmond , sir William de Midelton, sheriff of York [etc.] (c. 1240) .
