Haimeric de St. Maur, master ("minister") of the Knights Templars of England , with the counsel and assent of their chapter at Couele, after easter, grants to William, son of Nicholas , four bovates of land and four tofts in Alreton, and six acres with buildings thereon, and their part in Horonefthorp; paying annually 3s., with a heriot on death of the third part of his chattels. (c. 1220-30.) .
