Jordan, son of Adam Freman of Colton , releases to the Knights Templars all his right and claim in a certain wood called Coltundene, and in a certain piece of meadow abutting on the said wood, for which they give him 8s. To the counterpart Roger de Stamelest, preceptor of the houses of the Templars in Yorkshire , appends his seal (c. 1250-60.) .
