Convention dated 1257, on the feast of the Ascension of our Lord, between Eljzabeth, formerly wife of Jordan de Lisle "de Insula" (one of the witnesses to the preceeding charter), and the master and brethren of the Knights Templars in England, witnesseth that the said Elizabeth quit-claims all her right to certain lands and tenements in Colton, which the brethren have by the gift of her late husband, for which they consent to give her two marks yearly for life in their house at Hensum [recte Neusum].
