Convention, dated at St. Sever the Saturday next after the feast of St. Luke, evang., 1287, between Hugh, the abbot, and convent of Kirkestal of the one part, and sir Henry de Lacy, earl of Lincoln and constable of Chester , of the other part; by which the abbey quit-claims to the earl the lands held of him and his ancestors in Acrentone, Cliveacher and Hunnecotes in Lancashire, and in la Roundehaye, Secroft, and Shadewell in Yorkshire in return for annual payments of 50 marks for the lands in Lancashire, and 30 marks for those in Yorkshire.
