⟨ Halifax.⟩ Richard, the clerk of Halifax , grants and quit-claims to William de Eland, chaplain, for a sum of money, two acres of land in Suthuverum which lie in Stonirode, which the said Richard held of John de Lasey of Crumbwelbothim ; paying yearly to the said John 8d. (c. 1270-80.)
