John de la Pomeray confirms to John, son of Nicholas de Osgotby , a certain assart in Osgotby called 'Arnebrandriding,' also 12d. annual rent out of the said assart and one sellion of land near the way leading to the moor of Osgotby, paying annually to the prior of Draxe at the great altar of St. Nicholas of Drax one rose for all services. (c. 1260-70.)
