ALLERTON (Hospital of St. James at). Philip, bp. of Durham, grants to the hospital of St. James, near Alverton, in frankalmoigne, all his half of the mills of Houhton, Reningt⟨on⟩ and Trolleforde, after the death of master Peter the Goldsmith who holds them for his life, subject to his paying one mark yearly to the Hospital. [c. 1200.] .
