ALBERSTON. Sir Ed. Hastyngs, kt., lord de Hastyngs, (after reciting the grant of William, lord de Hastyngs, his father, for the foundation of a chantry within St. George's, Windsor, of an annual rent charge of £20, which is only valued at £18 5s.), grants to Geoffrey Symeon, the dean, and the canons of St. George's, Windsor, a rent-charge of 35s. on his manor of Alberston, Yorkshire, to complete the said sum of £20 granted by his father. Dated 15 December, 20 Hen. VII. (See MS. Ch. Yorks. 274).
